Is a Not-for-Profit facility dedicated to providing programs and services to benefit the whole family in a friendly farm environment. MCCD provides therapy for children and adults to address physical, sensory, and social concerns, using a variety of treatments and therapeutic tools. Programs offered at the Center include Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy, Equine assisted Therapy, Therapeutic Riding, and Riding Lessons. Our staff and volunteers are committed to provide the support needed to maximize each individual’s results and help them achieve their goals. Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy services are provided to treat a wide range of medical conditions. Licensed therapists administer and manage each therapy session, using a diverse range of therapeutic tools, selected based on the needs of the individual. For Equine Assisted Therapy the horse is one of the tools used in the treatment. It is a very powerful and important tool that, when used in conjunction with other therapy equipment and practices, accelerate the gains and provide superior outcome for the participant.
